We are traditional english craft bookbinders, apprentice trained and heirs to over 100 years of skill and equipment. We are devoted to helping family historians, students and photographers have their work turned into wonderfully bound books, albums and portfolios. Our expertise and quality in repair work has been nationally commended.

East Yorkshire Family History Society – www.eyfhs.org.uk

In the real world of family History, Genealogy, it doesn't quite happen as easily as the TV shows would have you believe. What really counts more than anything is experience. By joining a Family History Society you will be able to share the experience of fellow members, happy to help you smash through those walls which we all encounter from time to time.


The EYFHS hold a regular helpdesk at the Carnegie Heritage Centre on Monday afternoons from 1.30pm

East Yorkshire Local History Society – www.eylhs.org.uk

The East Yorkshire Local History Society exists to promote and encourage the study of local history in East Yorkshire. Membership is open to all who are interested and the subscription is £15 for individuals and UK institutions and £20 for families, overseas members and institutions. The society publishes two newsletters and a journal, 'The Historian', per year and more substantial publications hopefully every other year. A full programme of summer events and excursions is arranged for members and friends and a lecture series which is open to all.

Besides featuring the many books Paul has written, the site also details some important parts of Hull's heritage, from the social history of Hull, the pubs and breweries of Hull and Beverley, the streets and architecture, and the history of trade and industry in Hull.


Old Kingstonians' Association – www.oldkingstonianshull.org.uk

This the Old Kingstonians' Association website, for former pupils and staff of Kingston High School in Hull, its predecessor and successor schools. Here you will find information about the nature and purpose of the Old Kingstonians' Association, how to become a member, newsletters, information about forthcoming events and committee meeting minutes. There is also an extensive gallery of photographs from the very beginning of the school through to the present day, together with other documents such as newspaper cuttings.
