The Carnegie Heritage Centre are working with Dr Anthony Firth of Fjord Ltd and English Heritage to gather as much information as possible about the R38 Airship and its disastrous end over the River Humber at Hull Corporation Pier in 1921.

We are putting together a banner to tell of the development of the Airship, the casualties and survivors from the disaster and show the items made from the wreckage. This will be displayed at the Carnegie Heritage Centre and on the railings of the Marina near to the small carpark at the river end.

The Centenary of this fateful accident is August 24th 2021

Once Dr Firth has collated all the information etc he will be putting it all on this web site.
